ForexForum,
Thanks for sharing your EA. My back-test on it shows a big drawdown at the end. I see you have InitialStop set to 0. A big final drawdown is typical of EA's with no IS. I suggest we all try to find settings that include an InitialStop.

Error: Invalid S/L or T/P

Forex Forum,

I'm testing this EA with InterbankFX, and keep getting this error: "Invalid S/L or T/P" when EA was trying to modify an order. I attached EA on H1 with Lotsize 0.1. All other settings are default.

Please check. Thanks.

Forward test

Hi Everyone,

Interesting EA for sure. I started a forward test yesterday using EURUSD. Within a short time period, it opened a buy and a sell (0.5 lots each). When I got home from work today, the buy order had been closed for a profit of $95, and the sell order was still open, with a loss of $145.

At what point will the EA either close the losing position, or open another long? I'm still fuzzy on the logic/strategy behind this EA.

Thanks.

Doug

Oh my god! this EA is for GBPJPY ONLY and it only places BUY orders... do not understand how this happens... :/

And this EA is a very experimental one, I'm still developing it, so please do not use with real money...

Results

This EA opened 7 trades when attached to the GBPJPY H1 chart and subsequently has closed 6 in profit.
I have taken a printscreen of the page but the size in GIF is too large to post and loses in the translation to JPEG.
As previously posted it is working on a platform with another EA so the detailed statement is compromised.

Closed trades 9.02 6.05 4.62 3.91 3.43 3.9 = $30.93 closed profit and $13.43 open trade. This from a .01 unit start off is a good result.

I have changed the attachment sizes, so you can post your picture.

There are many issues to correct on the EA, so please do not use it on real accounts.

I know that today must have been a very good day for the EA

Thank you, I often use printscreen to illustrate a point.
