hello jackie,

I will introduce this on a future version, in fact i have already the code on the Ea so you can set the maximum number of open trades but is deactivated. For now if you set a very high value to PrevenPos it will only open one trade because this value is the range that the ea checks to see if there are any position near the current point.

But for sure I will include it on future versions.

Stochs with volume constraint

Hi Kokas,

have been demo trading this EA on all pairs set to low TP and works fine when the trend is well defined and there is high volume......but when volume is low, trades are open and will not hit the TP and reverse volume comes in....this take a long while b4 coming back to the set direction....(might give a margin call cos of multiple negative trades open).

i really wanna know if it is feasible to incorporate a volume constraint to the stochs so that trades are open when stochs constraint and volume set to minimum level are met.

In that case,if possible, this EA will be really good for taking an average of TP of 12-17pips depending on spreads pairs when trades are open because there is a high chance that if volume is high and at point where stochs constraint are met TP will be hit.

Note that if break is included to limit 3 max trade per pairs at a time...this could be like 30pips.

I dont know if my idea can be incorporate or if it is possible u can help me with the code logic......i'll write it out.

Hi, do you think we could run it on any other pairs beside EurUsd? Result is very impressive indeed. Thank you for sharing this EA.

Yes I think is it possible to run it on all pairs, the only problem is that the expert is only optimized for eurusd and for long orders. I need computer power to optimize it to other pairs.

I think that tomorow i will release another version, and after this I want to make some optimizations before I continue coding

Post SlowK

Hi, I have been trading the SlowK for some time now. I have read the info you have posted and downloaded your .tpl (neat) I have several questions that may help in getting that alarm you are looking for. I would like to further clarify the actual entry point. I will assume that for the 3 larger time frames the fast lines just needs to be below or above there respective slow lines all at the same time, and then we wait for the cross of the fast line on the 5 minute. Does the fast line have to be above or below any barrier when the cross takes place or can the cross happen any where? We have been working on a SlowK trade and we have noticed if we enter when the cross happens near the bottom (lets say below the 20 or above the 80 line) then we are more likely to net some PIPs. Do the other lines need to be in the center of their ranges or is it ok if they are pressed against the top or bottom? (I realize that the currency can continue on if this happens). How do you judge when to get out?

Smile Code issue

Hi

I think you need to review the 'isposition' function. It will need to be generalised for all currency pairs. At the moment there is a hard coded multiple (90) and presumption about the POINT size. I expect you've tinkered this to suit a particular pair while developing EA.

Also it is unbalanced in terms of reference to MODE_ASK for both buy and sell (subsequent) entries.

Without looking too closely are you not over exposed by distant TP. I guess this is in reality not a biggy as the fast signal would force an exit before it got too bad.

Keep up good work, thanks for sharing.

Valuable info for this Superstochs EA

Hello Kokas and all,
First of all thanks for sharing and investing lots of time on these developments.

I'm really new to this stuff of forex, and every single day it gets more of my attention, and look for the best trading methodology (as everybody does).

Anyways... this Superstochs EA seems to be a really good tool for automate trading, I finally found something like this. Few weeks ago I red about the "rainbow position trading system", which is based on stochs of many different MA's, and apparently it has a really good results. If I'm not confused, the rainbow methodology has the same principals as your EA has, but everything is manual trade.

If you (and all fellows in here) have time, please read the following thread ( INGOT'S RAINBOW ... A Position Trading Strategy - Forex Forum ). It is quite extense thread, but I bet is has sooooo many things valuable information to contribute to the superb functionality of this EA development. It's just great that Kokas is developing something like this!!!!!

I'm sorry I cannot come with ideas my self (again I'm new to this), but at least I can bring info I've found on other places. I really hope it can add great value to this.

Best regards,

What do you mean? If I have posted it on FF? No tomorrow i will post another version here and I can post it to FF. I will definitely post it also on Yahoo Metatrader Experts and Indicators.

I was thinking today on adding a filter to the entry point, something like two EMA. I use this filter with good results on Samuray.

I wish that there would be any way to make a cluster to run optimization faster but until now I could not find it...

Any way, today I will code some changes and tomorow I will publish it and begin a live test with the new version.
